Danny thinks he's reached his emotional and sexual nirvana with his romantic Frenchman, but maybe Stephane isn't all that he appears. If there's one thing Stef is good at, apart from the obvious, it's keeping secrets from those he loves best. And this is one enormous secret that may just threaten the French-Anglo entente cordiale forever...
Can Danny overcome his own hang ups and neuroses to face up to Stef's complex past, and find the courage to cross the Channel in search of a love ever after?

I found this to be a very enjoyable story; a lovely journey of being lost and finding your true soul and heart. It was so easy to warm to each of the characters and feel their emotions. Stephane was maddening at times and so much hurt and pain could have been avoided if he just told Danny the truth. But then, there wouldn’t be a story to tell. And I so loved that Stef and Danny got their HEA.While I loved the story, I didn’t go for 5 stars because I did have some issues. It took me a bit to get used to the writing style - kind of awkward and choppy. There was a lot of repetitiveness such as overuse of some words; e.g., “languid”, “solar plexus”, stopping their kissing “for “oxygen’s sake”, etc. There was also alot of droning on and on trying to wax poetic, but really, it shouldn’t take four pages to cross a street or answer a question. I also found it curious that this was so uniquely British but full of American colloquialisms.
Nevertheless, great story - definitely worth the read!

This was an amazingly well written and told story. It was sweet, it was warm and it was emotional. It, literally, was a roller coaster ride for your emotions. I loved every single minute of it, the tears and the HEA. Absolutely fantastic!!
Wow I loved these characters!
i loved this book ,this is the second book that i have read by this author ,she is becoming one of my favorite authors.
Loved the play of the shy introverted English gentleman (Danny) against the dominant fiery French hothead (Stephane). In the end, it took the courage of Danny to save wonderful love between them. Their families are just the greatest!!!
I shed a few tears from time to time, even found some of the a story to be quite a turn on.
Danny's world gets thrown for a loop when he meets Stephane while sitting in his favorite cafe the heat and passion just flows between these while the story is full of many twists and turns stemming from Danny's high level of anxiety and panic attacks to Stephane running from his past, reading and owning this book makes me so happy because I do love this story it makes me laugh and cry, I plan on reading it over and over again.
If you want a quick "wham bam, thank you man" read, this book isn't for you! This is a sweet, romantic story of finding love, and acceptance, in the most unlikely person (and situations). This book is a great read, it will make you smile, cry, and keep you hoping for more. I couldn't put this book down!
