I loved it! I was happy to read a continuation of the Pocket Watch Chronicles because I adore Gertrude, Citizen of the Universe and how she helps people travel through time to find their soulmates. This story allowed you to find out what happens if Sara accepts the pocket watch and also what would happen if she declined it. I thought both stories were entertaining and it was nice to see some characters from her previous books make appearances. It was a fun read and I highly recommend it to fans of the Pocket Watch Chronicles.Product details

I must say I liked both stories. I read the one about Sara accepting The Pocket Watch and didn't think the other could be any better but I must say I ended up liking the one of Benedict accepting The Pocket Watch even better. I couldn't stop reading but I also didn't want it to end. I highly recommend this book.
What a clever idea!! Loved it! Good read, couldn't put it down. Most books I read have a stronger female role than this one, for whatever reason she allowed her work to cloud her judgement with reality. But - she is smart enough to catch on and make good, shall I say it - Choices.
Oh my where to begin? This is such a great read! And you get to read it twice!! What an awesome idea!! Way to go Ceci! I would definitely say this is a must read! Great great stories!!! Its a page turner for sure. Then you just have to go back and read the "What if". Can not wait for the next "Pocket Watch"
OMG!!! I have read every one of Ceci's time travel books and just love her style!! Being they all connect to the pocket watch makes it so much more interesting to get to the next book. I hope they keep on coming for a long time. Great great read from a really good author!!!!
I chose What If I Fall in Love because I suspected that it wouldn't follow the usual plot line of girl accepts watch, travels back in time, meets and falls in love with the local hunk, etc. And it didn't. I enjoyed the change and don't expect to read the other version for quite a while. I am enjoying these books but have to wonder why the author thanks her beta readers when they miss so much. That is why I can't award 5 stars missing words, repeated words, misspelled words (breaks for stopping a car...), the use of I instead of me in many cases. Other than that, a very enjoyable series and I will continue to read them.
This was a fun and unique idea.....two possible directions in which the story can go and you can pick one or read both. I’ve been enjoying The Pocket Watch Chronicles, although they cant compare to Ceci’s true historical romances that really thrust you into one time period. While these stories were entertaining, I didn’t find myself extremely emotionally involved with the characters. I wanted things to go well for them and liked them well enough, but that was the extent of it. I’ll see how I feel about the next one....The Gift.
In the time travel genre, have you ever wondered what would have happened if.....? Some have attempted (with some success) to
answer that question. Here in this well conceived and brilliantly executed, full length novels, is a delightful answer to the questions
about those soulmates destined to meet even across the barrier of time.
